Our Charity Projects
We work in the communities around Poipet to help tackle the spiritual, emotional and physical issues that people face. We run a range of projects, which involves working through the local church to initiate long-lasting, sustainable change.
Self-help Groups
create a collective saving funds within the community for future investment and teaches financial education.
Agriculture and Animal Husbandry
Aims to increase the standard of nutrition and eating habits, lowering the cost of family stables by growing crops and generating an income.
Anti-Trafficking
addresses the problem of human trafficking by raising awareness of the risks and teaching people about the dangers or signs of trafficking.
Water and Sanitation
improves water and sanitation through the installation of wells and pumps, creating nearby access to clean and safe water.
Umoja and Churches Concept
helps people see their own potential in transforming their own communities, starting with planting and uniting a church at each village.
School on a Mat
provides free non-formal education to poor and vulnerable children in 20 villages around Poipet.
Our Business Projects
We aim to sustainably fund our charity work by using these business initiatives to generate income. The profits from these ventures directly support the projects in the villages. This is also important for our local community as we are able to empower vulnerable people by providing jobs and skills.
Destiny Cafe
provides skills and training to underprivileged members of the community through employment. The cafe serves a wide range of delicious Western and Khmer food and drinks.
Destiny Institute
provides high quality English language instruction to students of all ages and backgrounds, equipping future leaders by developing their skills in communication.
Family Economic Development
provides small loans and basic business and management skills to people the community, helping families to boost their income and increase their livelihood.
Safe Haven School
provides full-time education for the most vulnerable children from Kindergarten to Grade 6, aiming to break the chain of poverty through education.
