1. To expand the micro-loan program to Sam Pou Loon and Malai districts in Battambang and Banteay Meanchey provinces. 2. To encourage the financial independance of the project: using loan repayments to fund further micro-loans. 3. To provide micro-loans to more beneficiaries of other CHO projects. Graduates from CHO’s vocational programs and home garden scheme can apply for a Micro Loan in order to further their business. The loan that CHO can provide enables graduates to support their families and pay for basic living as well as improve the profitability of their business. For families of HIV patients the loan can also be used for children’s education, and access to ARV medication. CHO runs a series of courses on business planning, marketing and basic accounting, which micro-loan candidates must complete before receiving finance. |
